The professors truly care about students, and the small campus allows for more connection and individualized educational experience! The only reason why I didn't give it a five star rating is because, like every other older school it could use some renovations. It is a small, yet beautiful campus. But it wouldn't be fore everyone. I have attended Winthrop throughout my whole college career. The professors are awesome.Here at Coker you get to create relationships with all your professors. The professors are nice, reasonable, accessible and want to actually help you succeed. A couple downsides are that we're so far away from the nearest big city, so for some it's easy to get bored. Besides the academics, the leisures, amenities, and the get-togethers including football provided on campus, gives us all an opportunity to come together after days and weeks of studying to socialize and meet new people all around campus! I have entered into a community at Wofford that has embraced me and treated me like family. The facilities are new, and the campus is constantly growing with new buildings and new staff. It starts out alright but usually goes downhill near the end of the semester. Claflin University is a very prestigious historically black university that is top tier. There are many activities and clubs to become apart of right in the center of campus! The material that I have learned thus far will carry me through my lifetime in not only my personal life, but also in the professional arena, as well as out on the streets while dealing with the public. The campus is beautiful, but small. It is a Christian University. I spent probably the best years of my life at Coastal. This University is amazing! Even though the campuses are divided based on the particular Major you will be allowed to live in or attend any of the 3 campuses. The University of South Carolina Beaufort offers other sports besides soccer and baseball like Basketball, volleyball, Softball, and Men's Soccer but they are only club sports which means they're not division based. I really like Erskine. I have met people who I am very much certain lifetime friends. I was beyond impressed with how they approached my learning disabilities.
